Buğra Ayan was born in Erzurum, Turkey in 1989. He earned his bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Karadeniz Technical University and completed his master's degree at the Institute of Informatics at Gazi University. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the same institute.

Ayan has published several books including "Internet Secrets" (2009), "Mobile Application Development" (2015), "History of Social Networks" (2016), "Entrepreneur's Guidebook" (2017), "Python Programming for Children" (2018), "Digital Questions from Kids" (2018), "Coding with Erzurum" (2018), "Oh No! My Child is Digital" (2019), "Augmented Reality Applications" (2020), "Developing Blockchain with Algorand" (2021), "Covalent API" (2021) and "Digital Asset Dictionary" (2021). He has also written a book on "Smart Contract Development with Moonbeam" (2021).

Ayan has received several awards including the Volunteers Platform (Social Entrepreneurship), Turkey Youth NGO Platform (Social Entrepreneurship), Turkish Informatics Association (Informatics Service Award), and the Association of Informatics Technology Educators (Informatics Service Award). He also won the Best Instructor Award with Şebnem Ayan on Udemy.

In addition, Ayan has spoken at many conferences, including TEDx talks on topics like "Curiosity" and "The Internet is Magic". He is currently continuing his role as the founding president of the Web3 Technologies Association, which he founded in 2022. Ayan is married and has two children named Bilge and Gökalp.
