Burçak Günsev was born in Istanbul in 1978. She graduated from the Visual Communication and Design department of Bilgi University in 2000, where she was one of the first graduates interested in digital job titles, a new concept for Turkey and the world at that time. During this process, she founded Grafitürk advertising agency and then Wanda Digital. Wanda Digital, one of Turkey's first digital agencies, also gained attention abroad. WPP Group acquired Wanda Digital first as JWT and later as Ogilvy advertising agency. Burçak completed the agency's transformation and exit.
Her entrepreneurial success was rewarded in 2012 when she was named one of Turkey's best female entrepreneurs. In 2016, she was honored with the Digital Leader award at Women to Watch. Throughout her career, Burçak provided support in digital marketing, brand management, communication development, and growth strategy for many brands. As a female leader in her industry, Burçak enjoyed sharing her experiences as a jury member, mentor, and speaker at many local and global events. Most recently, in 2022, Burçak served as CEO at Tarentum, an artificial intelligence company, giving her the opportunity to examine the investor and entrepreneur ecosystem. This experience inspired her to establish BG.vision, which aims to manage the process and relationships between investors and entrepreneurs as well as become an accelerator.
