Büşra Köksal started her Plastic Move initiative as an academic study in 2015 and developed a technology aimed at producing biopolymers from starch-based waste. Production technology and formulation emerged in 2018. In 2019, he received entrepreneurship training in New York with the Hamdi Ulukaya Initiative, and Plastic Move left the academy and became a biotechnology startup that develops products for the industry. In 2020, the product was adapted to the industry, in 2021 the trials with the giants of the sector were positive, and a 300-ton production facility was established at the beginning of 2022, with an investment of 4.5 million dollars. Now Plastic Move has started mass production and sales. Büşra Köksal also works on climate awareness trainings for youth and institutions.
