Güven Karaöz, Member of the Executive Board of Girişim'23 Summit, continues to operate in the field of R&D and innovation-oriented management consultancy since he was the University-Industry Cooperation Coordinator under the Advisory Board of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of a foundation university in Istanbul. He started to work in the Presidency of Defense Industries in 2018, and after leaving SSB, he took part in the establishment process of Binovative Inovasyon Danışmanlık A.Ş. TÜSİAD “Entrepreneurship Ecosystem”, “Institutional Entrepreneurship”, “There is a Job in This Youth!” etc. Karaöz, who took part in the working groups, is a member of the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey, the Quality Association of Turkey and the Futurists Association. Karaöz completed the Intellectual Property Rights, Technology Policies and Innovation Management Master's program at Ankara University, FİSAUM, and prepared his graduation project on "Open Innovation and Defense Industry Relationship". In addition, as a civilian student at the Military Academies Command, he took "strategy development" training and master classes on war strategies. Karaöz, an Innovation Designer & Strategist, is among the mentors and trainers of the "Cube Incubation" within Teknopark Istanbul, the Teknofest and Takeoff Programs of BTM and T3 Foundation, and is a Professional Board Member and Consultant. Karaöz is the Ankara Branch Coordinator of the StartupCentrum Angel Investment Network.
