Dr. Mete Tevetoglu, received an LLB from Marmara University Faculty of Law (1997-2001). He obtained his LL.M degree from Marmara University and Bilgi University in Private Law and Business Law. Dr. Tevetoglu was rewarded with the Unal Aysal Thesis Prize from the Economic Research Foundation for his LL.M thesis namely “Measures To Be Taken Particularly Gradual Winding-Up For the Intermediaries Whose Financial Status is Deteriorating” in 2006. Dr. Tevetoglu completed his research at the London School of Economics and Political Science and University of London Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and received a PhD from Marmara University in 2009 for his thesis “Capital Markets Disputes, Applicable Law and Arbitration”. He served as President of Information and Technology Law Center for the Istanbul Bar Association and published his third book Information Technology Law and fourth book (co-author) Information Technology Law /Regulations. His last book The Legal Aspects of Crypto Assets and Initial Coin Offering published on 2021. Dr. Tevetoglu has appointed Ozyegin University in 2011 as an Ass. Prof. and Maltepe University Faculty of Law in 2022 as an Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tevetoglu has worked as an legal expert in Istanbul Central Courts and legal counsel for several law offices and companies. Dr. Tevetoglu published legal articles, legal translations and five books. He is a specialist in Company Law, Capital Market Law, Intellectual Property Law, Technology Law, eSport & Game Law and Blockchain Law.
