With over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, Gurcan has focused on venture capital, product development, R&D funding, and global partnerships. He began his career at TUBITAK, where he helped thousands of reserchers from SMEs, startups, universities, and research centers across Turkey and Europe to develop joint R&D projects. Prior to ACT, he worked at Hexagon Studio, where he managed R&D and technology development projects in the automotive, defense, and manufacturing industries. He is a jury member for EIC Accelerator and EU Prize for Women Innovators. Gurcan is a Mechanical Engineer by training, with an MS degree in Science and Technology Policy.O.
